“I had a relatively straightforward problem with my outdoor outlets not staying on and flipping their central GFCI switch often and then eventually just not coming back on. The guys who helped me (I believe it was Steven and Reagan, apologies if I’m misspelling the names) not only got things back up and running with a new GFCI switch, but explained to me why the strange wiring in my house was likely done the way it was, how I can keep the outlets from flipping that switch so much (hint: don’t have an extension cord plugged in outside year-round where water can get in it), why GFCI switches might fail constantly after being flipped enough times, and what I could do with the outlets themselves if I ever wanted to make a more permanent change to the way they are being flipped at a central point.”
